  2. Hum, N2651W?
  3. That is gonna make someone very happy - GLWS… -Don
  4. Don’t forget new panel… -Don
  5. Do you still have the pressure line from the top of the carb to the firewall? That is where we tapped a mechanical gauge to verify pressure when I was having high ranges (at the firewall)… -Don
  6. Right, I get updates from my GNC to ForeFlight when I make changes in the GNC - AC is clear as mud there… -Don

  8. Support MAPA, keep it going, have a great reference tool, worth a membship! Wouldn’t need a new mag, Mooney flyers for that and, support them too! -Don
  9. @gwav8or, you may have an option now! -Don
  10. What would be great from MAPA is online archives of the ALL the mags - a lot of great info there that would be of benefit to newer owners - like what google did with old flying mags etc… -Don
  11. How about just getting a single new TSO oil temp gauge and sensor, put it in the cover where the JPI will go. Once you’re ready for the JPI, no new holes… like this below (have it in 1 1/4 or 2 1/4 size) https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/pnpages/10-02443.php or https://mitchellproducts.com/product/electric-gauges-electric-temperature-gauge-2-1-4-inch/ or https://mitchellproducts.com/product/mechanical-gauges-temperature-gauge-2-1-4-inch/ It would cost about what the overhaul would for the instrument and a bit for sensor and wire up. Valid and legal replacement. Just leave the original out or, put it back in and label it inop - as a temp solution so you can fly? -Don
  12. Could also try BAS Parts, Maxwells, or Lasar to see if they have a line on one… edit: I see you checked BAS and LASAR… -Don
  13. Ouch.. not a big help there… I wonder if David @Sabremech has the cluster from my plane still - of course it’s from a 66 -Don
  14. If Lance doesn’t take them, I will… -Don
  15. Lots of fun there! -Don
  16. Started clearing up by around 9:30. If I got to Mesquite 30 minutes earlier, I could have shot 2 or 3 more. Clouds were about 5-600 ft thick.. Fun to cloud surf! -Don
  17. Approach practice this morning! Had to get up early before the ceilings lifted. Got 3 at least. Plane is doing great - almost 10 tach hours since cylinder done. Just barely under 6 qts now. Temps great, engine is running great. Need to plan another trip soon! -Don
  18. Not tried it, just assumed I had to expand since TEC routes didn’t show up. Worth a go next opportunity! -Don

In DFW, an F was going for $200 per hour - Zulu Aviation FYI that was wet though…
  20. I have a little in my C when I preflight it. Left right test shows a bit of wiggle - no up/down though. I’ve not noticed any issues in flight and I’ve not discovered any maintenance specs for it… -Don
  21. I just load the TEC route in ForeFlight and then click the TEC route in the Flight Plan window and select expand. It will put all the waypoints in the flight plan. Then I push the plan to my Garmin (GNC 355 in my case) but if you get flight stream for the 430, you’ll be able to do the same. -Don
  22. Can’t wait to see it all together again! -Don
  23. No issues so far! -Don
  24. I use a racer mat - about an 3/4" thick 6’x2’ - at the time it was $30 but now is $66:
  25. My GDL82 is above the co-pilot pedals:
