If you installed a uAvionix Tailbeacon then you're going to be running your nav lights all the time. Have you swapped fuel caps? I.e. have you taken the right cap to the left side and the left side to the ride side to see if the problem travels? You said it's not the cap but can you elaborate how you came to the conclusion? James

The fluorosilicone o-rings are the best! I'm on year 4 for my Bonanza! Whelen only has red or green and I'm not sure why they do not do white for the tail light. They do sell LED tail lights and I have them for $239.99 each.

No joke, I keep an extra fuel cap in my AOG bag. I've heard stories of the plungers breaking or in your case, leaving it off and riding off. It may be a little over kill for an AOG bag but it's a little silly to be grounded because of a fuel cap.

I've done this and it has worked well for me but not all auto paint stores will mix it and put it in a spray can in my experience.

This one is in good shape and is ready for prime and paint. I have gotten picky with the fuel caps that I sell because there is a lot of junk out there. Probably for every five I buy, one or two are good for parts. I strip them of paint to bare metal, replace some components with new, and then they are ready for sale.
