I now have several remote antennas in stock to help with devices that have poor connectivity. It has a 12 foot cable and I was able to get mine on the roof of my hangar and saw around a 30 Db in signal increase versus keeping it in the hangar. It has a magnet so you can almost stick it anywhere! https://www.gallagheraviationllc.com/switcheon.html https://www.gallagheraviationllc.com/switcheon.html <-- Buy SwitcheOn and the Remote Antenna here gallagheraviationllc@gmail.com<-- Email me here 1-833-425-5288 <-- Call me here!

I installed the remote antenna I have on the top of my hangar and I gained about 30 Db in signal. You want at least -90Db for your signal and a remote antenna will help that. I will be providing remote antennas through my store probably later this week. I ordered twenty that have a 12 foot cable. https://www.gallagheraviationllc.com/switcheon.html <-- Buy SwitcheOn here gallagheraviationllc@gmail.com <-- Email me here 1-833-425-5288 <-- Call me here

I was looking at the Orion 500 paperwork and it did not have a weight but I can find out. What light did you remove? -
Whelen LED tail strobe, rudder rebalance?
OSUAV8TER replied to bmcconnaha's topic in Modern Mooney Discussion
I think you'll be okay but for some model aircraft such as Barons and some Twin Cessnas, you have to rebalance the rudder because the beacon light on the top is part of the total weight and balance for that control surface. For example, I sell a LED beacon light for Barons that weighs exactly the same as the old light to make the swap easier. -
Seeking replacement gas cap o-ring seals
OSUAV8TER replied to TravelVeteran's topic in Vintage Mooneys (pre-J models)
The Shaw 457 are generally not a serviceable fuel cap from my understanding. You already have a special fluorosilicone ring installed so if it isnt giving you trouble, fly on! -

OSUAV8TER replied to OSUAV8TER's topic in Avionics / Parts Classifieds

I have more 14V lights arriving today and both the 14V and 28V are in stock and ready to ship. https://www.gallagheraviationllc.com/whelen-aircraft-lighting.html <-- Order here gallagheraviationllc@gmail.com <-- Email me here 1-833-425-5288 <-- Call me here -
These are a great product and deliver incredible value. SwitcheOn will save you TIME and MONEY. No more unnecessary trips to the airport to plug the airplane in and no more running the engine block heater while the plane is not going to be flown in the near future. When I kept N11GG plugged in all winter my electric bill went up $30-$50 a month. In one winter the energy savings pay for a SwitcheOn. It's a compelling business case!We have an excellent inventory and these are ready to ship!https://www.gallagheraviationllc.com/switcheon.html <--Order heregallagheraviationllc@gmail.com <-- Email me here1-833-425-5288 <-- Call me here

SwitcheOn is proving to be incredibly popular and we are selling several units every day and I have an excellent inventory of 2 and 4 channel units that are ready to ship. The first year of service is included with the purchase of the box. This box will save you time and money, paying for itself just in the first year! You can now avoid unnecessary trips to the airport to plug your airplane engine block heater in or avoid the extra electric costs by leaving it plugged in all winter. https://www.gallagheraviationllc.com/switcheon.html <--Order here gallagheraviationllc@gmail.com <-- Email me here 1-833-425-5288 <-- Call me here

I have an excellent inventory of 14V and 28V red and green Orion 650 wingtip lights for Mooney aircraft that have a flat wingtip or are replacing legacy A650 wingtip lights. If you had a power pack burn out or a component go dead, it is a great time to upgrade to LED. gallagheraviationllc@gmail.com <--- Email us 1-833-425-5288 <--- Call us here! https://www.gallagheraviationllc.com/whelen-aircraft-lighting.html <--- Check out website here!

That is unclear to me why it is denoted R. It comes down to how it is oriented on the wing of the plane. The 431-9 and the 431-9R have different bottoms to the cap. I'll snap a photo today.
-
The difference between the 431-9 and the 431-9R is the way they lock into the fuel cell adapter. When you put them lock them in, the plunger should be facing the tail of the airplane.

@Bravoman I have the Reiff system on my IO-470N and I liked it much better than the Tanis heather. The downside to switching is that I had to replace all of my EGT probes. With the installation of the preheated consider checking out our SwitcheOn smartphone controlled remote switching box. The box hooks up to the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network and you can remotely activate your Reiff preheater. https://www.gallagheraviationllc.com/switcheon.html <--- Check it out there
