  1. Where does it say the $40K-$50K includes the new IFD navigator. On the Dynon Bonanza example price list it’s $45K and doesn’t show one.
  2. It will happen. Yes, I know everyone is excited and anxious and tired of the “it’s coming” story. But it will. When they announced for the 172 we put our name on the list and waited. No reason to call constantly. They’ll let you know when it’s ready, hey want to sell a bunch of them. Then we decided to put one in a 182 and waited again and it happened. Now I’m wanting to do one in a Mooney. An E, but that's a longer wait. And it IS worth it. They fly the airplane beautifully, accurately and smoothly. Best $7,500.00 we’ve ever spent!
  3. I thought I’d read on another thread that the Gen2 was a complete cowl, not just the nose bowl. Is this not correct? Also, I’d thought I’d seen some updates recently but can’t find them.
  4. Hey, thanks for the call today! I love it! Can’t wait to see it in six weeks. It’s just what I’m looking for! I go back and forth between an E and an F. Found an F in Texas but it got sold. It’s usually just me and a friend or my wife so the E should do. It’s more of a sports car 2+2 to me where the F is a sedan! RVS to 45R (every couple of months) and OSH once a year is my furthest trips and I want something quicker than the 172 that’s still good on fuel. I’ll try to remember to bring my M20E “project notebook” with me with all my wants and notes I’ve gotten from reading this page. See you soon!
  5. Which Power FLow did you go with? Original design or shorter one?
  6. Yeah, lots of cool stuff and great prices. For luggage take a look at www.RedOxx.com. Excellent product, made in the USA and unbeatable warranty. I fly with several pieces.
  7. Looking for a '78 to mid 80's J like this. This would be a great airplane to bring up to modern conditions. Looking forward to following this.
  8. 1967 M20F Owners Manual says this: As soon as the airplane is airborne and under good control, perform the following procedures: 1. Apply brakes to stop wheel rotation 2. Retract the gear 3. Reduce the propeller RPM to 2550-2600 4. Retract the flaps 5. Establish climb-out attitude So pretty soon after liftoff I'd say.
  9. Check the 430 for sure. We just upgraded our standard 430 to a 430W and it was $4,695.00, flat rate from Garmin. Although Garmin isn't making the 430 any longer our updated unit looks brand new. We were told the only thing they reused was the case. It sure looks like it, everything looks brand new.
  10. Just did all Airtex interior two years ago including new carpet. Everything fit great and in two years we've put 400 hours on it and no wear on fabric or carpets. Something doesn't sound right to me. We did quite a bit of research and decided to go with them because of their quality and extensive stock of colors. Going to do a E/F soon and will go back with them but leather.
  11. We used all Plane Plastics pieces in our 172 a couple of years ago and were happy with them. A few minor issues with the fit but that's not their fault; all airplane's are a little different. Just a little trimming and we were good. We ordered all the interior available from Airtex. Seats, carpets and sidewall panels. We went with cloth and vinyl trim and coordinating carpet. We've put almost 400 hours on it in that timeframe and zero wear. We're very pleased. I looking at doing a M20E/F and I'll probably go with Airtex leather. Just a thought if you haven't considered them.
  12. I've always heard the North 40 was for camping only. A couple of years ago we saw them make a guy in a Baron move because he was parked there but NOT camping there. He's been there a couple of days when they booted him. We always fly up the Friday or Saturday before and get good spots. It does start filling up fast on Saturday and Sunday so it could've been full on Monday morning.
  13. Just found this thread and I'm glad I did. I've been talking to Lopresti about their Super Cowl. Where can I get more information about this one? I may have overlooked something in the thread that says that.
