bcconsult21 Posted August 4, 2013 Report Posted August 4, 2013 Does anyone know where I can find the rubber boots for the servo's for the 1965 m20c Mark 21 wing leveler? also the thumb switch? Also my N7852V is in annual and I need to know what the most current required airfilter assembly is and where I can buy a replacement "boot" for the space between the inlet and the carb heat intake . Do any of you have a lead on where I can get a "service manual" too!! Thank you! Quote
Bob_Belville Posted August 4, 2013 Report Posted August 4, 2013 Don't know but I would contact Brittain in Tulsa. Pretty sure they built all the wing levelers as well as the step retract servo. http://www.brittainautopilots.com/ Quote
orionflt Posted August 4, 2013 Report Posted August 4, 2013 Lasar will have the intake boot, but it will cost you a couple hundred dollars. They probably also have the servo boots, if not. Britain will. As for the service manual, contact me and I'll get you a copy. Brian Quote
N201MKTurbo Posted August 5, 2013 Report Posted August 5, 2013 I have always bought them from Laser. I recall they were reasonably priced. Quote
tony Posted August 5, 2013 Report Posted August 5, 2013 Brittain is an awesome little company. I'd just give ceci or jerry a call at 918-836-7701 Quote
Bob_Belville Posted August 5, 2013 Report Posted August 5, 2013 +1 for Brittain. Replaced my step servo last year, great service. Quote
ken66770 Posted August 5, 2013 Report Posted August 5, 2013 I bought two aileron and two rudder servos last month from Brittain. ABOUT $150 each plus core. They also have the retractable step servo which is slightly higher. The parts are all yellow tagged. The boots by themselves are no longer available for "field repair." You have to buy the entire unit. When I asked about the Thumb switch, they suggested I send it in for repair. The only thing I can see that would be replaced are the two "O" rings. The repair manual is in the downloads section of this forum. Lasar also has the parts at ABOUT $10 higher. Hope this helps. My PC also had worn and loose tubing on the roll trim valve in the yoke. This turned out to be the main problem. I replaced all the servos even though they were not actually torn, they were definitely leaking. Ken Quote
