  1. My 1965 M20C is "Esperanza" which means "Hope" Beautiful name and I sure HOPE I can keep it Flying physically and financially. Decal is on the cowl.
  2. So I started this as a wake up call. I had an incident with the hub cap too, and the new ones are $350 for a 2" cap. The dust cover [6" flat plate]is another $330. FYI So my point is someday we may get $500 for a used gas cap. Aren't the owners supposed to only use approved components. I noticed most of the other caps were for Cherokee or Cessna. FYI. Stick to Mooney or your insurance may not cover you...Just a thought.
  3. Now that I've stirred you all up.....Just let me know if you need one and we can haggle [a lot]. My price is not the issue because I will either keep it, sell it or give it away as I see fit. My issue was how did the new ones go from $1000 to almost $3000, with the factory re-opening?
  4. Funny Guys!! The "New ones" from the factory are $2800+ last I heard. I am just trying to make a point. If you need a nice one I will work on the price a bit.... Thanks for all your comments brothers. [I agree I am in the wrong business too!]
  5. Refurbished White Flush mount fuel cap. New o-rings and stainless cotter pin. New white paint on cap and polished bare metal tab. New ones are 3 times this much! 5 two zero-four 0 4- 2697 Brian SPECS: Size 3 50 PSI Spec mil -C- 007244C ROSS US Pat 2772809 Part# 431-9 ASSY. Shaw Aero Devices INC. Code 99321
  6. Thanks for the tip. Yes the panels are in good shape too.
  7. $450 plus shipping [From Tucson AZ] Excellent condition. 520-404-2697
  8. Sorry - had a long day and was reading the other site regarding the caravan....So please forgive the strange entry above. However I am interested in learning at one of the clinics, and am based in Tucson...
  9. Me too...Yuma 2015 would be doable!! What kind of cost is involved?
  10. Does anyone know where I can find the rubber boots for the servo's for the 1965 m20c Mark 21 wing leveler? also the thumb switch? Also my N7852V is in annual and I need to know what the most current required airfilter assembly is and where I can buy a replacement "boot" for the space between the inlet and the carb heat intake . Do any of you have a lead on where I can get a "service manual" too!! Thank you!
  11. Last year I did my first go around after the 2 bounces in Globe AZ, and was thrilled I had read 100 or so blogs on this subject! I recognized from all your comments [last year] that 3 is too many, and saw and did the right thing....so for what it is worth this site is worth its weight in gold to me. All comments on flying this thing are welcome as I experience and learn new stuff everytime I get in and go.
  12. Anyone have the '77 POH suggested above? BCconsult21@yahoo.com The 1965 M20C would be nice to have on my Ipad...if anyone wants to send that too! Thanks
