Oil consumption went from a quart in 10 hours to a quart in 3 hours so after staring into the top plug hole with a new snap on bore scope I realized all I knew was the bottom plug had oil on it, so I had the #2 jug pulled. Which revealed oil residue in the intake. After popular grove engine shop (local renowned cylinder shop) looked at it they said something about miss alingment of the rocker arm or something like that. The exhaust guide was also bad. I keep temps in the 350 range and no higher than 380 and run camguard. Kinda interesting but something to keep in mind if you ever have a problem. Btw the cylinder compression was 74/80 immediately before pulling the jug.

There is a hardened steel shim that goes beside the rocker arm.  These are available in several different thicknesses and you have to choose the correct one when installing a cylinder.  I don't remember the number, but there is a service bulletin that describes the process.  There is also a tool that can be used to resurface the aluminum boss that this shim rides against.  Once the correct shim is in place, you will have to recheck the pushrod length to make sure it is still correct.
