For those with Winter Blues... (or sore backs from shoveling)

I know a number of my friends up North are still digging out from the blizzard. Thought I share a couple of pictures I took today on my way down to Ocean City Maryland. The first is looking out the pilot's window out to the Atlantic Ocean and the second is looking out the right window at the Chesapeake Bay. Taken seconds apart. Just a beautiful day, light winds and CAVU.

Mooney pilots flew out early

I dug my plane out on Saturday because I had a compassion flight scheduled for Sunday (and I wanted to assess the situation in advance). There was some melting. Sunday there was a pool of ice engulfing all my planes wheels an inch deep!
