Marauder Posted February 11, 2013 Report Posted February 11, 2013 I know a number of my friends up North are still digging out from the blizzard. Thought I share a couple of pictures I took today on my way down to Ocean City Maryland. The first is looking out the pilot's window out to the Atlantic Ocean and the second is looking out the right window at the Chesapeake Bay. Taken seconds apart. Just a beautiful day, light winds and CAVU. Just want to thank you for taking this storm for us! Quote
Oscar Avalle Posted February 11, 2013 Report Posted February 11, 2013 Great...wonderful views... I really enjoyed flying out of KGAI while I was based in DC. Quote
201er Posted February 11, 2013 Report Posted February 11, 2013 I dug my plane out on Saturday because I had a compassion flight scheduled for Sunday (and I wanted to assess the situation in advance). There was some melting. Sunday there was a pool of ice engulfing all my planes wheels an inch deep! Quote
fantom Posted February 11, 2013 Report Posted February 11, 2013 Sunday there was a pool of ice engulfing all my planes wheels an inch deep! Probably kept it from tipping over Quote
KSMooniac Posted February 11, 2013 Report Posted February 11, 2013 That is one colorful Mooney in your pic, fantom! Easy to see against the snow. Quote
