colinzp
I've already logged 10 hours in my new '67 M20F to get it home from Texas, but insurance is requiring 5 hours of instruction from an instructor proficient in Mooney's. I'm based out of Carson City, and willing to travel a bit for instruction. Anyone on the west coast able to help me out? Thanks

Thanks Do you have previous Mooney experience and just looking for the insurance requirement for the new plane? Example, I had >1000 hours in a J, and I still needed 10 hours for insurance when I got an R. Depending on your past overall experience, if you do not have previous Mooney proficiency, consider the MAPA PPP course or getting more than just the minimum insurance requirement. -dan
