I started right away on my Instrument, but got busy a few times. Of course ended up getting stranded a few times being a VFR pilot. Finally in 1995, 9 years later, took ten days and flew 2-3 times every day to put it all together and get the IFR ticket on 5/28/1995

 

I was flying an '83 231 at the time.
