Indeed a character, a Mooney fan and for some, a resource. I think nearly everyone shopping for a Mooney will find his site eventually. RIP.

I spoke with Richard once and exchanged some emails with him before I purchased my Mooney.  I agree with Dave most will find Richard’s web site during their search for a Mooney.  RIP

His website was awesome and he would talk Mooneys with you all day if you'd let him. Great guy. I am saddened. I hope his family leaves Mooneyland up on the www. Thanks for letting us all know Jimmy.

Richard's website was a wealth of information about Mooneys.  I spoke with him on the phone for a few minutes for advice about buying the Mooney that we now own.  It turned into a 2 hour conversation.  I found Zef to be a passionate Mooniac and a knowledgable expert.

He seems a little young to have gone west. Rest in peace, Richard.  You will be missed.

I purchased my J through Richard. Yes, was a character and very passionate about Mooney's. Probably has the most colorful website out there! Simpathies to his family.

Zephro was my mentor, helped me find my amazing '62 C.  Miss you Richard!  He worked hard for Mooney fans, for decades.  He even has a new site coming to life in the near future!  ...He was that passionate about keeping pilots safe!

He will be missed, he was the most enthusiastic mooney fan I have ever met. Many of us learned a lot from his articles on his web page. Thanks Richard!
