FlyBoyM20J Posted April 9, 2023 Report Posted April 9, 2023 This duct is disintegrating so I didn't want to take it off to see if it has a more complete PN on it. This is co-pilot side, and the plane's SN is 24-1298. I'm not 100% sure which duct it is in the IPC diagrams (attached)...I think it must be item 35, PN 912007-503 but I'm not finding that part online easily. Has anyone had any luck replacing or repairing this duct? Thanks again, Cliff Quote

Unless there is something peculiar about it, a piece of duct is like a bolt. Mooney may have assigned a part number, but you don't generally go back to Mooney to replace it. 1 Quote
ArtVandelay Posted April 9, 2023 Report Posted April 9, 2023 Your defrost hoses are probably in bad shape as well, if you ever need to pull the glare shield I would take the opportunity to replace them as well. 1 Quote
EricJ Posted April 9, 2023 Report Posted April 9, 2023 +1 just find the diameter and replace it with suitable bulk ductwork. 1 Quote

You could use almost any version, single or two ply. Quote

carusoam Posted April 9, 2023 Report Posted April 9, 2023 Easy to swap new ones in… if one is crumbling… expect many others to be ready… -a- 1 Quote
