AA48108-2 filter on an IO-360 Lycoming

Got my filters in from Spruce, I’m sure I ordered 48103’s but got 48108-2’s

Will they fit on my Lycoming IO-360? Or do I need to fight Spruce?

Normally I wouldn’t ask, but with the way filters are now I’m asking

check the filters spec but i believe the thread is not the same.

Simple answer is no. The 48108 filter has a 3/4" thread and the 48103 has a 13/16" thread.

Sell them to anyone with a Continental engine and get 48103 or 48104 for your J model with a D suffix engine.

Unless Someone with a K model Mooney needs them, then I’ll sell at cost of course, they are unopened, a case of 6.
