A64Pilot Posted November 8, 2022 Report Posted November 8, 2022 Got my filters in from Spruce, I’m sure I ordered 48103’s but got 48108-2’s Will they fit on my Lycoming IO-360? Or do I need to fight Spruce? Normally I wouldn’t ask, but with the way filters are now I’m asking
OR75 Posted November 8, 2022 Report Posted November 8, 2022 check the filters spec but i believe the thread is not the same. I received a 48103s and would be happy to lend you one while you wait for the replacement. pm me
stevesm20b Posted November 8, 2022 Report Posted November 8, 2022 Simple answer is no. The 48108 filter has a 3/4" thread and the 48103 has a 13/16" thread.

Normally I wouldn’t ask, but with the way filters are now I’m asking Sell them to anyone with a Continental engine and get 48103 or 48104 for your J model with a D suffix engine.
A64Pilot Posted November 9, 2022 Author Report Posted November 9, 2022 I need to call Spruce and argue with them. ‘Want to bet they will say it’s what I ordered?
