Bob R Posted November 9, 2021 Report Posted November 9, 2021 All, I’m jumping the gun a bit, but in the next month or so, hopefully sooner, I will be selling 2 pilot side control wheels from a M20E. I am currently waiting on Mooney to build and ship me the new co-pilot side shaft. These control wheels are freshly powder-coated in off-white and are virtually the same color as original. On the pilot side, I made a bracket which houses the mic switch, thumb operated electric trim switch, as well as an autopilot cutoff button. I also drilled access for the PC cutoff release button which has worked very well. I am including the PC release button, electric trim switch, and AP disengage button. The trim switch cost me approximately $300 if I remember correctly and is about a year old. All wires will be labeled so you won’t have to trace them. While the bracket is not the fanciest bracket ever made, it has served me well and is very functional. You will see I have secured the wires to the control wheel using rescue tape. The clock does not work but I left it in, marked it “inop”, so there is as not a hole to look at. I can include the control wheel shafts if anyone wants them but they are subject the the AD. I have attached a pic for reference and will upload pics of the actual control wheels tomorrow. If anyone is interested, let me know. Bob P.S. Just to reiterate, the two I am parting with look like the attached pic but much cleaner. Look for actual pics tomorrow. Bob
