Happy New Year to you BillC.

Not to be too facetious here, but in my experience maybe the best way to solve your cloudy window issues is to follow suit of "scottfromiowa"........remove and replace!!

As many of us have discovered, it is truly one of the best visual enhancements a person can do with their Mooney.  It is also a safety factor.

The job is a bit labor intensive, but well worth the outcome.  The whole world brightens up so much as you peer outside through your new windows. You can do it!  Cool

24ish...That would be about $1700 in labor saved...That doesn't include transport to airport online ordering windows, sealant screws etc.  Honestly I had fun doing it and learned a lot.  It is doable by anyone, but it DOES take time, attention to detail and a partner.  CAN NOT be done without a partner IMO...so maybe you have to double that labor cost...

Short of replacement, wet sanding with micromesh, then polishing is the most effective solution.  You will find verying kits for this at Aircraft Spruce and possibly Sportys. This is how A&Ps are trained to polish windows. It's a bit of work, but it produces good results.

Good Luck
