chriscalandro Posted March 2, 2021 Report Share Posted March 2, 2021 (edited) Why leave the analog gauges? the digital stuff has independent isolated battery backups. I would argue keeping the steam gauges adds not only unnecessary maintenance, but the added pitot static system splits actually decrease safety and reliability. chriscalandro Posted March 3, 2021 Report Share Posted March 3, 2021 Add, As a Dynon owner, I can no longer recommend the Dynon system if you plan to have autopilot in you’re airplane. After years of being told it’s coming, it appears it’s no longer got a timeline, and for many of us, is no longer in the works at all.
