Seats finally came in, 6 months late thanks to Covid, looking for someone in the  mid Michigan area To embroider the old Mooney symbol on the seat backs before I install them on the frames.  So far every embroidery shop has said no.
Any suggestions are appreciated
I’d rather not ship them but if I have to I will.

Have you considered getting someone to do an embroidered patch that you can sew on?

Possibly emroidery shop can not perform due to the fact that material on which you wish to have the logo sewn is already installed on your seat.  I was able to provide the material to the embroidery shop prior to all being assembled on seat frame.

@dbrown - do you have a vector or PDF file for the old Mooney logo for your embroidery shop (when you find one)?  If not, here's the one I use.

If you want to PM me your N number, I can put it into a vector file they can use (like this one).

I had a T-shirt embroidery company do me up a set of polos using that logo/registration arrangement in the colors the registration is painted on my plane (gold trimmed with maroon). I think the company was Queensboro? Something like that. I bet they'd do a set of patches of asked.

They are not assembled. It’s just the covers at this point

Oh, that's good.

Further details with my project................before the seat covers were sewn together, I took only the small panel where I wanted the embroidered logo sewn.  Possibly it's not feasible for the shop to sew the logo with the entire cover sewn together.  I'm just guessing here as I don't know the the sewing machines mechanics.

It's good Ross has sent the file to you regardless.

Looks like I may just have to add some headrests and do the logo on those :/

Looks nice, but I think adding the headrest would be a very smart move just as a safety of flight issue. You might remember the Mooney that had a departure accident hitting a berm pretty fast. The NTSB concluded if the plane didn’t have its head rest removed it would have likely prevented a couple broken necks. Till that report i didn’t realize how important they could be.
