FS: NEW WAT Orion 360 Beacon Lights

If you're thinking upgrading your old Whelen or Grimes rotating beacon light consider the Whelen Aerospace Technologies (WAT) Orion 360 LED beacon lights. They come in all LED red or a split LED red/white with a couple different bases. For most Mooney applications (usually fuselage mounted) you will need the 3.75" base. These beacon lights are significantly smaller than the WAT 71080 series LED beacon lights and can use your existing wiring for fairly straight forward installations. They come with a 5 year warranty and are FAA PMA/STO/STC for Mooney aircraft. I have sold several to Mooney aircraft for mounting on the belly. For those mounting options, the beacons with the 3.75" base are needed. Orders over $500 ship free and there is no sales tax outside of Ohio.

I have all four of these beacons in stock in 14V and 28V. Mooneys with a belly beacon will need one with a 3.75" base. Pick your color, style, and correct voltage for proper install. It probably takes about an hour to install and they come with an STC or you might need to install it via a minor alteration. These beacons are FAA TSO approved as an anti-collision light system.

I just received more Orion 360 LED beacon lights in 14V and 28V. They are either all red or split red and white. I do have an all white Orion 360 only in 28V. If you're looking to replace your legacy beacon on the belly of your Mooney, the Orion 360 is an excellent option!
