Anyone know what the core value is on these? I have one that was removed from my brother in laws plane a month ago because it was precessing badly (he replaced it with a G5).

It is sad that such fine pieces of equipment, which I would have given my eye teeth for a few years ago, have become worthless.

Its only value is for replacement parts for people who still have the systems installed.

They stopped making the belts, my 360 could not be repaired (I think there is a service bulletin out).

Parts are still available as this particular unit was overhauled recently. I originally purchased this HSI with the intent of installing it in my Mooney. However, I have decided to install the Aspen Pro instead. This unit will serve a good purpuse in someone’s a/c who’s NSD360 is faulting and would want to retain the original equipment for whatever reason. It can also be a good shelf spare in case it is needed in short order. I agree wholy that these units have become somewhat obsolite by newer technology. Having said that, there are folks who embrace vintage equipment and for those, this would be a great buy.
