Gary Douglas Posted March 9, 2018 Report Posted March 9, 2018 Morning all, just joined this webpage blog. I am the proud owner of a '65 Mooney M20C which has just undergone a 400hr service. Been advised that the lift pump above has to to be replaced. Anyone have any idea if it has to be a Dukes or can a new Weldon equivalent be used as a replacement?. I am luckily visiting USA in a months time and can bring the core over if need be but not sure best options and best value for the replacement if I have to go the Dukes core replacement route especially as I will only be at a fixed abode for 10 days for turnaround of replacement unit to my address. Pse advise. Quote
Guest Posted March 9, 2018 Report Posted March 9, 2018 I looked through the retrofit kit list on the Mooney site and don’t see an upgrade to a Weldon fuel pump. Failing that, Aeromotors LLC in Wisconsin does a good job with great price and service. Contact them to see if they can do it in your time frame. Clarence Quote
Gary Douglas Posted April 9, 2018 Author Report Posted April 9, 2018 Thanks so much Clarence , I have since been in comms with CJ Aviation and they can provide the Dukes pump when a core is sent in for replacement Quote
