Where/how do I get the map?

Many of you have the map in your sig showing the states.  Where does this come from?  And what are the guidelines?  My wife and I discussed this with family during a humorous dinner tonight and wondered what had to happen to color in a state... fly over it as PIC?  Touch down in it?  Have an actual destination/layover in it?  We decided that you have to have actually flushed an airport toilet in it (after all, that's the reason for a lot of our XC stops).

So where do I get this map, and what's the general rules for coloring in the states?  (Full disclosure: we may follow our own rules as determined by the she-thing.)

This is the many use. For me, the rule is I had to have landed at an airport in the state to color it in, but I suppose you could make up your own rules if you want.

Mine is based on landings as well. I might cheat and do flyovers for awhile until I fill it out more, but so far, it would look the same either way.

Yep, I use landings, too, but haven't added it here yet. Used it on the AOPA boards, though, when I used to visit there . . .

Only tracking landings on mine.  We have one for the motorhome as well, it only includes places that we have overnighted.
