I AM LOOKING FOR A LANDING GEAR DISENGAGE ASSEMBLY FOR A 1975 M20F. I HAVE FOUND THAT THERE ARE TWO PART NUMBERS THAT ARE GOOD FOR IT. IF YOU HAVE ONE WITH A CASTING NUMBER OF 125182A OR PART NUMBER 40609A, PLEASE LET ME KNOW! THANK YOU

We are looking for a Landing Gear Disengage Assembly for an M20F.  PN: 40609A Cast# 125182A.  Or if anyone knows the part number for the spline.  Is there still some out there?  I have been searching and am out of ideas.  Lasar has our actuator and Georges has the motor.

I talked to Dan at Lasar and he said Good Luck!, We have called just about every shop that works on Mooneys.  I can't even get a part number for the spline to try and get specs on it.  We are waiting for some calls from salvage yards now.

Those don't look quite right. The sliding disconnect coupling is smooth on the outside with a smooth disk extending out about 1/3 of the way from one end. It has female splines going all the way through. Sort of like the top photo.

If you have one made I'm not sure what material to make it out of. It doesn't look like aluminum, but it is soft enough that the male splines always strip out the female splines.

They may not be completely correct, I don't have the parts here they are in California.  It is all that I could find that was related to this issue.  I have a machinist that could make them I just need the specs.
