My wife and I flew to the breakfast club yesterday which was at Triple Tree  SC-00.  It was a beautiful and amazing place that I highly recommend if you ever get the opportunity.  They have a 7000' bentgrass runway with an operating WW2 control tower and everything from a P51 to RC planes.  There are numerous camp sites and lakes and rolling hills.   It has been called the Augusta National of aviation and with good reason.  It was our first time there but hopefully won't be the last.  Look it up on the net and go check it out.  Also the SC Breakfast Club puts up pictures and video usually a few days after events at "flyscbc.com.

The fellow that gave me a tour said just call them anytime for permission.  They have a number of events during the year that are open to the public and a big fly in in September that lasts several days.

Too bad you don't know anyone else who trained out of the grove and rents out of the grove and hangs out down at the grove.

that saturday works for me.  I might be able to take a half day that friday as well, or that sunday works too but I think it ends on sunday.

I flew an M20C but there was an S there as well.  Field condition was excellent.  Probably better than the average asphalt runway.
