Intermittent fuel flow indication

I've had a few flights now where my EDM-830 will show 0.0 for FF at T/O. It came back to life a few times mid flight but usually it doesn't come back until the next flight. I had my mechanic recheck all the connections and he said everything looks good. Have any of you experienced this before? Aside from a bad transducer, all I can think is a bad connection.

It is an occasional problem with fuel flow transducer. After 1000 hrs or more the fuel residues accumulate on the shaft of the spinning wheel causing it to momentarily jam. To fix this disconnect the transducer both hoses and inject carburetor cleaner into the transducer ports. You know when is fix when after blowing air into it you can hear the spinning wheel.

I've had the same problem with my FF. But although mine sometimes reads zero, at the end of a flight it gives (what I think) is an accurate total used.
