M20J Electrical Pulsing

Recommended Posts

HI,

I know this has been covered previously but I cannot find a tag for it.

My Mooney has developed a pulsing on the Volt and Amp meter. It bounces from charge to discharge and 13.2 to 14.2 Volts.  In the past, cleaning the contacts on the Master Switch sorted this out but this time, it did not.  Can someone point me to the solution for this.  OBTW, it does not matter what load is on it pulses just the same.  It does cause a pusling static on some radio freq's and there is sort of a pulsing tone in the background on the intercom. I am guessing it is some sort of ground corrosion problem.

Thanks in advance.
