Marauder Posted June 7, 2016 Report Posted June 7, 2016 Hi All, Many of you know my home airport (N57) is an active place. In keeping with that tradition, the EAA Ford Tri-motor has arrived at New Garden today and will be here through the weekend. They will be providing rides and the local EAA Chapter will be hosting a pancake breakfast on Saturday. If any of you are in the area, details can be found here: http://www.eaa240.org/?p=6964 If any of you Mooniacs plan on attending, drop me a PM and I will keep an eye out for you. Marauder Posted June 11, 2016 Author Report Posted June 11, 2016 Good times this evening. Swing dance party. Even found a plane capable of hauling my girls. Of course, I will need to remove a few of the seats. Even comes with a refrigerator. 1 Quote

Marauder Posted June 13, 2016 Author Report Posted June 13, 2016 Steady cross wind? -a- It was a strong 70° crosswind (18G30). They stopped flying for a bit to let it settle down some. I did see one go around on landing. I will post a landing video once YouTube is done publishing. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Quote

Marauder Posted June 13, 2016 Author Report Posted June 13, 2016 Did she land in the grass? Yep, we have a grass strip next to the asphalt runway used primarily for glider recoveries. Their takeoffs were on the asphalt and landings in the grass. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk 1 Quote
