DaV8or Posted March 22, 2015 Report Posted March 22, 2015 Finally, scale airspeed! Fantastic detail. Gear, lights and control surfaces. The fuselage is filled with helium and only weights 10 oz. Ducted electric fans. Pretty impressive. https://youtu.be/pL3Bn4lHEZM Quote

RocketAviator Posted March 22, 2015 Report Posted March 22, 2015 Well played Looks to be excellent details in both scale and flying! Quote
320KPH Posted March 23, 2015 Report Posted March 23, 2015 the little pilots would have very very squeaky voices! Awesome indoor Airbus! Quote
Piloto Posted March 23, 2015 Report Posted March 23, 2015 I want one for Xmas!!! Santa Pleease!!!! Quote
320KPH Posted March 24, 2015 Report Posted March 24, 2015 Nice! Now he needs to make a 201. I would not recommend for indoor use, but this is the only Modern Mooney RC Kit I have been able to find: here's the link: http://www.cambrianplanes.co.uk/ourshop/prod_819533-CA18-Mooney-201-Executive-rc-plane-kit.html they do say they are out of stock though... if enough of you want one, i'm sure they'll put them back into production. Now imagine converting it to a Missile and fitting those little speakers like the Airbus had in it! Quote

Now imagine converting it to a Missile and fitting those little speakers like the Airbus had in it! I built a highly modified scale model version of this model from Cambridge of my Rocket. I also built a vacuum thermoforming mold for the canopy of this model...cause I broke mine when I slid my seat into it returning from Mooney Homecoming in 2014! Oh and I did convert it to a Rocket with retractable gear, lighting & scale 3 blade prop! Definitely not for indoor flying, although I have not flown it yet I intend to at some point. Quote
