AIRBOX BOOT FOR M20K

This is probably one of the most rare parts I've ever encountered. I've spent almost two days calling mooney service centers including internationally, salvage places, etc. and no luck. Anyone out there that could help me out? I'm looking for an airbox boot for a Mooney M20K, the PN: 600414-001. I'm only needing one. The factory sells it for $461.89 however they're 120 days out, I'm needing to order it ASAP and obviously around that price range. Used but obviously good condition would work as well.

Careful, that is a 252 & encore induction baffle, different from the 231. I recently got one from the factory last December. Sorry to hear I probably got the last one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You probably did because factory told me they're 120 days out and the only place I found that has it in stock is selling it used for double the price of new from factory. haha

And thank you for the tip, this plane has been converted over from a 231 into a 252 so I do need the 252 baffle.

You might try contacting Gee-Bee (poster on this site) and see if he can make it or not.  He might be able to duplicate it from your existing one much faster than 120 days as well...

You'll definitely want an old one to make a mold of it - it is very shaped. Also a new one is much more rigid than an 10+ year one. I still have my old one.
