Right now I'm in Phoenix for the next two weeks. Of the time that I have been home, my CFI has been on the road. Time is very limited these days.

Bennett Posted October 9, 2013 Report Posted October 9, 2013 I have a vertical card compass on my 20 J. I've had them on every airplane I have owned. All were excellent, but took a bit of time to adjust, and build a deviation table. Nice to have an independent source of heading, but what I really use it for is for getting a handle on runway directions approaching an unfamiliar airport
