    Looking for suggestions, tips, advice on flying through Monument Valley and the Grand Canyon. We are in Palm Springs. On our trip back to Fort Lauderdale we would like to do some scenic flying through these areas. Also any recommendations on routes of flight would be great. Input and experience greatly appreciated!     Opionions....M20J IO 360 A3B6.....if the engine is designed to run max power/ 2700rpm continuous... Other than saving fuel by slowing....is there any harm to engine by running fast....... Should it theoretically reach TBO??

    What if ....when Full forward RPM is set and RPM shows 2700 on t/o roll then exceeds 2800 RPM when gear is retracted. Any significant issues with engine if quickly reduced to 2700 RPM. I may have read than the helo of IO-360 application has 5min max limit for 2800RPM. Any educated opinions? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
