+1 for Phillips. The alternator coupling is roumored to not like other brands. It's a $1500 part new.

Thanks for the responses so far. I have a 75 cf onboard system. Will I be ok with the 125 cf tanks or should I upsize?

Looking for instruction/techniques people use to fill onboard oxy tank. I have a two bottle 125 cf each cascaded mobile fill station and the transfill connectors but have never seen anyone do this before. A video would be perfect. Anyone done this themselves?

Bus to Houston was 4.5 hours complete with wifi and opportunities for cultural enhancement with the other 10 passengers. Not bad but I prefer to travel by Mooney as we all do. Annual was clean. Now I want to fly!

Good to know! So the weight penalty for FIKI is partially offset by the removal of Charlie weights. Does anyone know the net weight gain offhand?

That's a debate with the wife right now. It feels backwards but I want air and she wants FIKI. Can't do both with our mission loads.

I faced this same dilemma when stationed in the UK. I chose to sell but the market was too soft at the time. Ended up having a friend fly it now and then to keep it reasonably healthy. That said when I returned there was a long list of minor squawks that needed attention. Normal things that I would have taken care of along the way just all piled up waiting for me. Long way to say sell if you can for a price you are happy with. Airplanes don't appreciate any more so when you get back you will have more buying power and likely more visibility into things like ADSB and alternative fuel. Plus you will hav saved all the fixed costs, hangar, insurance etc.
