    I tried to go on ebay to send him a message asking point blank if this is the same plane that went swimming. I dont have an ebay account and didnt feel like signing up just to ask him. If anybody has an account why not email him and ask him point blank about it and see whay he says. If he is honest then OK if not then nail him to a wall and complain to ebay and anybody else that will listen... like the BBB if he is a business!

    Just looking at the paper today. No new info has been released. One of my co-workers here knew them both well. Both very experienced pilots with lots of hours, instrument ratings etc. On their way to a wedding no less. Lets wait and see what happended. My condolences to the family.

    Squirrel: According to to Transport Canada and the FAA bird strikes are not on the increase just the reporting of them. The media seems to have a lot more interest in them since a bunch of geese sent Sullys plane into the Hudson.

    If you love the plane i would also stick with the existing bird and up grade it. I have WAY more money into my M20A than i will ever get back but thats not why we do it. I also have thousands of dollars more into my classic british sports cars than i will ever get back, but again, who cares. I do it to keep the plane flying and the cars running. Like Parker said. We need to keep the these beautiful aircraft in flying condition.
