  1. Thank you Ross.
  2. Thanks -a- I have been in contact with my rep at JPI. They are able to ship some limited probes but any of the engine monitors including the EDM900 are not being shipped, all my pending orders an paused in process. I am expecting an update tomorrow on their status. The JPI rebates are active now and what I am doing with my customers is taking orders, getting all the paperwork in order, sending in the order to JPI to lock in the rebates but I am NOT charging anyone until I have a ship date. As stated the normal lead time for JPI to build the certified units like the 900/930's is about 4 weeks. My prices are better than Chief & Spruce but unfortunately I won't be able to ship until JPI reopens. https://wolfaviationsales.com/shop/ols/categories/engine-monitors
  3. Andrew - Thank you for chiming in! I had a list under Wolf Aviation with Pam from the start of the thread many months ago and she said she would transfer that over. The Mooneyspacers on my list are some of the very first that have wanted to buy the Vizion and it would be great if we can get them theirs first. Thanks for bringing this great product to market, I have many happy Cessna and Piper customers and hopefully soon to be Mooney customers.
  4. This is true. I have my own list that TruTrak said they would ship first or give priority. Since the buy out my "slots" are gone but I have been in regular contact with Bendix King. It will be a while before any Mooney (when approved) kits ship, the approved piper kits are on a 5-9week back order now. I have not and will not take any payment until there is a ship date, I would be careful of anyone who wants your money now. The good news continues to be I have have a lot of happy customers and the AP works great and is still a good value. I know rubbing salt in the wound until there is an approval...
  5. Oh man!!! I feel bad for forgetting to mention Janet!! She is a phenomenal instructor and person. She also has a very nice J! +1
  6. Joe Chenault owned and flew a 252 for many years. He now owns a flight school with diamonds and barons but is a great instructor and has a lot of Mooney experience.+1 (702) 912-8515 As for an A&P I use a few solo guys with mixed results, EGA is a good shop Len the owner is experienced and maintained my Mooney for 10 years. Feel free to reach out to me if you need any help or just want to say hi. I would love to check out your Mooney!! 702-430-2255
  7. Hahaha! I commend all of you guys for waiting so long to drift this thread . A group of true professionals!! Frustrating but a humor helps...
  8. Historically with TruTrak it has taken between 3-4 weeks to get an autopilot from when i place the order. Hopefully BK will be faster.
  9. Very good info thank you!!
  10. If your aircraft is on the STC AML then no, if it is not then a 337 is required. I am not and IA, this is the interpretation of the IA that I work with and what we do.
  11. Yea the last 3 we have installed have been labeled Bendix King. So far I have been pleased with BK, they have been responsive and the tech line has been prompt and helpful. Steve called me right back the other day when I had some questions so far so good. When we start cranking on the Mooneys time will tell...... TruTrak was really behind on the certification (obviously) I really think BK will be a plus, who knows how long it would have taken. Again time will tell and at this point I have no expectations, when it is approved it will be a bonus .
  12. WOW, I learned something new about Mooneys. Nice detective work Clarance!!
  13. The deadline is quickly approaching, if you haven't equipped yet this is the fastest and least expensive option to keep you flying in controlled airspace after Jan 1. I can't guarantee we will have it completed by the 1st but if you make arrangements ahead of time we can do a same day install. We have done a bunch of short body / short rudder Mooneys but no long rudder ones yet. Our IA is doing research now so shoot me an email if you have a newer Mooney. Price includes installation, set up and logbook entry with 337. Aircraft needs to be dropped off at EGA Aviation at North Las Vegas Airport KVGT, hopefully LAS approach will be able to offer approvals to fly in after 1/1/20, If not you can drop the plane off before the deadline. Price is $2,150 plus tax out the door and you can complete the order here: https://wolfaviationsales.com/shop?olsPage=products%2Fuavionix-tail-beacon-certified-installed Feel free to email me for scheduling or pricing on the wing mounted Sky Beacon before you place your order. Thank you, Sanjeev sanjeev@wolfaviationsales.com
  14. Not sure on that one yet, there has been no word from either company. The AV-30 was designed by a few of the founders of Aspen so hopefully it will be just as easy to interface with the TT.
  15. Correct, it looks like they are trying to fast track the AV-30 then get the autopilot adapters approved separately starting with STEC. Based on timeframe I would not bank on it if you need it to drive your AP, it may be a while. What a lot of my customers are doing is planning to buy the AV-30, installing it in the primary spot and moving the vac AI down to standby position, leaving it in the panel to drive the AP. Hopefully the AP adapter will be approved before that VAC AI needs an overhaul....
  16. I see your POV but respectfully disagree. There is a significant difference between the cheap Amazon tractor lights, the entry level Whelens / AEROLED’s and the top of the line AEROLED’s. I would say buy the best light you can afford now and stick with it. The current mid to top of the line LED’s are so much better than incandescent and more than adequate for GA applications. If you have Whelens or better, you are happy or don’t fly a lot at night stick with the LED’s you have. If you still have incandescent buy the best now and leave it alone, enjoy the fact that this will most likely be the last light you will buy for the aircraft. Here is a link to buy AEROLED’s :-) :https://wolfaviationsales.com/shop?olsPage=t%2Fleds
  17. uAvioinix informed me that approval is expected early 2020 (Caution FAA timelines) and they are taking pre orders for the AV-30.I have already ordered one for my aircraft and a few for local customers and I am really excited to install and sell these! The AV-30 embodies my mission to bring new affordable tech to our legacy aircraft that improve safety and reliability.I am not taking any payments until we have FAA approval and are ready to ship. If you would like to pre order please go to my website via the link below and select "preorder" during check out to submit the order with out payment.I have links to video's and manuals on this site as well : https://wolfaviationsales.com/shop?olsPage=products%2Fuavionix-av-30-certified-pre-orderSanjeev Wolf Aviation sanjeev@wolfaviationsales.com 702-430-2255
  18. Not yet unfortunately, anxiously waiting .................
  19. I am completely impressed with AEROLED's as a company and the the people I have dealt with. Nice, professional and passionate about their products. They are made in the USA and the attention to detail even in their packaging is impressive, I look forward to promoting their products. I agree with Don in that the taxi lights have a very diffused beam but that is what they are designed to do. With the being said the taxi light is still VERY bright.
  20. I just switched out my Whelen's for AEROLED's and I am very impressed so I just got an account with them and started selling their lights last week. AeroLED's are the brightest lights you will get unless you go HID. Check out the different PAR36 versions here: https://aeroleds.com/sunspot36-series-certified/ The LX lights are $345 and the SUPER bright 43xx series are $640, I haven't put them on my site yet but shoot me a PM or email and I can get you details. They are expensive but considering they are the last lights you will ever buy and are super bright I was sold and bought 4 for my 310.
  21. Very much alive but very much delayed :(.. There are many anxiously waiting the FAA approval for Mooneys. I have a pre order list going PM me if you would like to be on it, I'm not taking any payments until we have the STC/AML. Hopefully soon.
  22. Not 100% but those look like around 75deg ROP numbers. I have IO550-A's in the 310R, at 65% roughly 21MP 2400RPM I am burning 12.5-13GPH per side LOP with GAMI's.
  23. Bart - As others have mentioned that quote is out of control high and we don't charge anything near that for labor. You don't have to go to a big avionics shop for the install as it is pretty simple but time consuming. I have multiple A&P's that install for me here in Vegas who do not specialize in avionics, most of the install is Airframe and Power plant with just a few wires running to the avionics if you want it hooked up to a GPS. The big avionics shops around here don't want to bother with an EDM install unless you are buying a $100k panel to go along with it. That has opened up a lot of opportunity for guys like me, I love it and have some happy customers!!!
  24. Thank you!!! How are you liking your EDM900?
