    No, I was just asking the question before I start using Camguard on the recommendation of the A&P. I am sure hoping I don't fall victim as you have described. I need to figure out which starter I have.

    Has anyone had the starter adapter slipping after using Cam Guard?

    Brian Kendrick uses them on every landing. Someone once told me they don't have any impact under 80kts.

    I always ran my Tanis at least 24 hrs if it was that cold. also drape a sleeping bag over the cowl

    breaking in New cylinders on an Acclaim. Says run 65% and 75% power. Can't find in the POH where it says what those settings should be. MP, RPM and FF. Any help thx

    As some of you have read, I am having an unscheduled maintenance event that will down my Acclaim for 60 days or so. We are starting a business with the daughter and son-in-law. A 10.5 hr drive from our home. I am reaching out to see if anyone may be willing to lease time in their Mooney for a short period of time. This Acclaim is my 4th Mooney, I have ~3500TT so experience is not an issue. Thought I would throw it out there.

    It's actually both now as of yesterday. 1) The BT connection from the 345 to the iPad drops consistently thus no traffic displayed on the iPad. 2) As of yesterday the traffic being displayed on g1000 is now inop. "Traffic fail" is now displayed on the traffic page and a small TRFC FAIL annunciation on the bottom of the MFD.

    darn, thx Lance for this thread. Might try my gdl-52 first and see if it works. Seems like a design flaw from the beginning.
