  1. I appreciate that. I figured that was the case but just wanted to check and make sure. Of course there are a lot of you in here with so much knowledge.
  2. I like the bigger size of this so I am not asking about anything other than the M20G. Anything I should be aware of with the limited number of them that were made? Issues getting parts or do they share a lot with other long body models? What about the engine? Any issues getting parts or cylinders for it? I know years ago the -A1A narrow deck had issues being found, so wasn't sure if that might also be the case for this one. Any thing else I should be aware of? Good, bad or just different? The last Mooney I owned as an M20A. Thanks for all the help!
  3. Just don't do it if you have a boat! That will get taxed to high heaven
  4. Really! I'll have to fly up there more often and find out. Always seems like the lower winds are forecasted better whenever I try and go anywhere. Although I am usually getting about 155-158TAS around 4-7k. Albeit mine is MPH and not Knots.
  5. What sort of speeds are you seeing?
  6. Sam, also if you ever intend to put an autopilot into it you will be severely limited. AKA no new tech.
  7. It's okay. I don't want to fly any safer than I already am. /end sarcasm
  8. What I was referring to was hardware issues. Computer failures. Software not loading. Equipment breaking/not working.
  9. I thought about it, but the reviews don't seem to be very promising for the equipment. I hope you like it!
  10. Oxygen in those concentrations will also sterilize. Now if there are other particles, dust, etc... those would remain. But would also be sterile.
  11. Try Avemco
  12. According to the brochure it also comes with a mount.
  13. Yes mine is an A model. It used to be listed on G's website but has since been removed. I've talked to and will again talk with one of the Garmin tech's in charge of getting planes in and was excited for mine. However he says he is pushing for it but doesn't see much hope at this time (that was from our conversation in April 2021). Apparently they have concerns over lightning strikes and their servo's welding up and they don't know how to make a work around for a wood wing. So as far as I know all the wood wing planes are ineligible.
  14. I would like to agree with you but since mine is an earlier model, it looks like it has been cut (possibly permanently) from them even attempting to certify my model
