Has anyone installed an Electroair system on an F-Model. I'm curious which mag should be changed? I have a 67F model, Continental S4LSC-200 left Mag, Continental S4LSC-204 right mag

I was considering the GNX 375 to pair with the Dynon system I just purchased. Dynon says that it will work. It was a nightmare deciding which GPS unit to go with but I finally decided on the IFD540 after initially promising myself that I wouldn't spend that much. I suggest calling Dynon. They have great customer service and answered questions for about 2 years before I bought anything. We are wiring mine for a future autopilot and a second screen. It looks like the second screen may have to be the 7". If anyone has two Skyview screens in a 201/231 style panel id like to see pics

It's been changing. 2450, 2400 and now 2300. The shop is looking at it today so we'll see what they find. It's declined the last three times we've flown

What should the static RPM be for a 67 model M20F? Prop is a Hartzell hc-c2yk-1bf

Yes, my S-Corp is a TN Corporation so I will use the TN address but since I have a hanger rented in Indiana I should be able to do the same as you. It looks like Indiana is a little less with a straight 7% tax vs. TN's tax of 7% plus other taxes

Thanks, I am in the middle of a purchase and will have the option to register in TN or Indiana because my time (Hanger time) will be fairly evenly split

I know this is a little off topic and may have been discussed before. I've been considering purchasing a Bravo and noticed the exhaust and uneven cylinder head temps were a reoccurring issue. I called Ryan at Power Flow Exhaust and asked if they had any plans to offer an exhaust for the Bravo anytime soon. He said it wasn't in their plans and would basically take 30 customers, potentially willing to make deposits, and 3 years to complete. Doesn't sound promising but I thought I would mention it.

I will second Skydancer2992's recommendation. I know a couple of people that graduated from MTSU's program that speak highly of it.

I was surprised to see Mooney with the highest fatal Accident rate in the AvWeb video .

We have a 6.5 hour driving commute between where we live now and our family farm and my wife hates flying. We had a terrible experience in a Turbo Prop Commuter over Texas once where the turbulence was so bad that the flight attendant went airborne, landed on the seat back, breaking her ribs. Then the pilot made an emergency landing with an initial rapid decent. My wife flew home after that and didn't set foot on another plane for several years. I ended up getting my license without her even knowing. The one thing that peaked her interest was watching youtube videos about Angel Flights and vacations to remote places to fish, ride horses, etc. I would watch a video every now and then while she was in the room. It just takes time and there's not much you can do unless she develops an interest on her own.

An F or a J would be good. It's very difficult to find a Mooney to train in or rent. I suggest you advertise whichever you decide on. People that are considering purchasing a Mooney have limited options for training or just finding something to try out.

Thanks, I agree with Mike's opinion on low compression, TBO, etc. The first time compression's were 60, 60, 62. The second time #5 was replaced it was 35

I finally have the logs for the 1985 231. Inter-cooler and Merlyn wastegate were installed not long after initial purchase. More recently #1,3, and 5 cylinders were replaced due to low compression in the first 600 hrs on a factory re-manufactured engine. #5 cylinder has been replaced twice. Ideas as to why this might happen?
