Hi everyone. The West Coast Mooney Group fly-in is really coming together. We have about 50 planes registered for our fly-in this Saturday and 90 + people expected to attend. Phil Corman @mooneyflyer was kind enough to put a Fly-In information sheet together for everyone who will be joining us on Saturday. I have added a few things of interest to it regarding the raffle prizes and our sponsors Aircraft Spruce & Specialty & LASAR. We have over $750.00 worth of prizes being raffled off to our members to help us with the food and fly-in costs. This is going to be a great day and I look forward to meeting everyone on Saturday. Thanks again to Phil @mooneyflyer and his wife for all of their hard work taking care of the logistics in planning the food and airport venue for us. It is much appreciated. Rusty, Looks like your club is coming together nicely. I am happy for you. It's fun isn't it. The West Coast Club is having our first fly-in this Saturday and as of now we have 96 people, 53 planes registered with 51 Mooney's in the group. I was able to get annual sponsorship's from Aircraft Spruce and LASAR with over $1,000 in prizes as well as discounted fuel on the field. I created a banner for our events as well. Hi everyone. I am just beginning my transition training and as of today I do not have my insurance hours flown off. I am planning on attending the Mooney Fly-In this weekend and I would love to be able to have my airplane there. I may have this figured out with another pilot but just in case I am hoping to find a pilot with at least 25 hours in an M20F Model, 100 retrac and 500 hours time to fly with me from KSMO to KPRB. Any suggestions or Mooney instructors looking to spend some time on Saturday while enjoying a great fly-in please contact me.

Have you ever considered getting some sponsors for the site? Mooney International should be an easy get as well as Aircraft Spruce, MAPA and other Mooney related vendors. A little bit from a few should help immensely. Just a thought. This site is too valuable to all of us to see slip away.

Thank you for the kind words. As a new pilot and Mooney owner the sharing of information and experience between MooneySpace members is invaluable to me. My goal with the West Coast Mooney Club is to build on that theme and add the benefit of club activities and the opportunity to meet like minded people and have fun doing it. Based on the response it seems as though others might desire the same thing. I’m really looking forward to meeting everyone and to having regular events throughout the year. I’m really enjoying this and Phil is obviously a great guy to work with.

As of today 30 MOONIES and over 60 Attendees signed up and growing every day! It's going to be a great day!

Great suggestion. We also have fuel discounts for all attendees at the FBO on the field for our group.
