  1. Yes, closed due to the accident. I believe the wind at the time was 270 27G35. They were landing Rwy 23 (237 magnetic - not numbered 24 because 24L/R at at the South end of the field).
  2. There is a better video of the accident filmed from the cockpit of an aircraft holding short of the runway: https://www.facebook.com/share/r/18vxSo122g/
  3. The airport did close for several hours.
  4. I'm ATC in Canada, and when we are working multiple frequencies, we have the ability to "couple" the frequencies so that when a pilot transmits on one of my frequencies, the transmission is automatically re-broadcast on all my other frequencies so that everyone I'm working can hear all other transmissions from aircraft that are on my other frequencies. We've had this capability for about the last 25 years, and every time I fly in the US I can't believe the controllers there don't have that ability. I really hate not being able to hear all transmissions to the controller who is working me. You definitely have reduced situational awareness in these situations.
  5. Great series of videos, I really enjoyed watching them! Quite the adventure!
  6. Thanks, and my price is negotiable so any importation costs could be shared somewhat.
  7. Hi, The airplane has not sold yet. A friend of mine has a Baron, it's a lovely airplane, but at 6'4", I have to slouch a bit in the seat as my head is against the ceiling. I don't have that problem in the Mooney. I've never flown a 310 or 340 so I can't say how the controls feel compared to those, but yes, the Mooney controls do feel a bit on the heavy side. I like that, they feel firm and stable. Feel free to ask any questions and I have all the logs scanned if you would like to see them - I scanned them back in July and I'm still flying the airplane regularly so there is a bit missing... Steve
  8. My registration is decals, not paint, so that should make it less expensive to convert.
  9. Price reduced to $129,000 OBO.
  10. I'm quite certain there has never been a charge for that. It may have been sent in error and I think you could have successfully disputed it.
  11. Nav Canada will only charge you if you land in Canada, there are no overflight fees light piston aircraft.
  12. It's USD, but negotiable.
  13. Sorry it took so long, but I've now added some more interior shots. Steve
  14. I'll get some...
