  1. Parker is my new agent as of March. I renewed three days after I passed my IR check ride. I was pretty disappointed it was less than $200 savings. But he found me cheaper quotes than AOPA. I’ve flown over 130 hours every year I’ve had the plane. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. If there were no cameras, it didn’t happen. Sounds like two perfect landings..... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I won’t be in Vegas this month but I’m normally there every other month. So probably mid June. My house is a stones throw away from the North Las Vegas airport. If you want to meet up I know it’s not hard to get people to Lake Havasu for lunch, would be glad to pick you up or if you wanted to meet me at VGT. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I’m getting excited!!!!! Any weekend in July work for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Flew to Sunriver S21 for Mother’s Day brunch. Preflighting to leave they had a herd of elk running back and forth over the runway. Shareena is loving the Tangos. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. So Canada doesn’t allow IFR currency in vfr conditions without a view limiting device during the approach? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Yeah if that wasn’t the case I just wouldn’t want people seeing me do that spread all over YouTube, specially when I’m an air traffic controller:) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I’m really surprised Canada let’s you count approaches towards your currency if you’re not under the hood in VFR conditions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Last Sunday was filled with flying. Five airports, at least 430 miles, 6 approaches, three ILS’ and three RNAV’s. Pendleton, Yakima, Tri-Cities, Walla Walla, back to Pendleton and one to home. Didn’t get any pictures since I was under the hood for 4 hours out of the 4.7 and got about .6 of actual. It made me feel like a real IR pilot:) Today was a lot shorter flight. Me and two brand C pilot friends flew into Silvies Ranch resort for breakfast. It’s only about a 12 minute flight. Good friends food and scenery! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. If anyone is interested in them. $300, works great. If I didn’t have an abundance of headsets I would keep them. Five extra mic covers so you don’t have to kiss me.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. The comfort of the Tango that’s just like the Sierra is surprisingly nice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. This Sunday I put 4 hours on the Tangos, 5 approaches, two missed, 3.5 was hood time, .5 actual all on IFR flight plans. It was a lot of radio work. The morning started calling clearance via Bluetooth to pick up my IFR clearance. The Tangos performed great. The tones I noticed before switching back and forth to the Bose became unnoticeable after about 10 minutes and didn’t notice it again during the day. I could hear the stall horn. It was nice not to notice the wires coming off the headset and all around I’m happy with the purchase. I’m honestly surprised more people don’t use these headsets even if you are getting them for your passengers. Specially if you give them some honest flying time. The last flight home I wore the Bose A20’s. It was an hour long flight on an IFR flight plan with about .2’s actual. Comparing the two headsets is hard. Specially with how much I paid for the Tangos vs the Bose. But I have no buyers remorse with them!!! The last time I charged the batteries was before the maiden flight two weeks ago. So Saturday night I put them on the charger and after about 20 minutes they were already showing a full charge. I pulled them off expecting they were really not fully charged and I could run them dead Sunday. But my safety pilot used them on the last flight home and they were still just humming along. I love how well they hold a charge. I’m confident I could charge them after each flight and they would be ready to go weeks down the road. I haven’t weighed them to see the difference between the Bose but I’m sure that info is somewhere on the net. But I don’t notice a difference. I also grew up wearing either a snowmobile or motorcycle helmet so the headsets have never strained my neck. This weekend will probably be the first time my better half gets to use the Tangos. If she likes them over the halos I bought her last year I will probably be selling them if anyone is interested. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  17. Do you have a good guess on the size of drill bit to drill out the old camloc nut plate? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I’m guessing it would be the two lug floating anchor but? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Thanks!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I just replaced all my cowl camlocs with the Skybolt kit today. It turned out great. One of the four camlocs around the prop and engine has previously been replaced with a screw. I would like to replace the other three camlocs with the same screw type hardware circled in red, but I have no idea what this part is called or where to look on Aircraft Spruce. Thanks for any help. 21. Good idea,,,,, but really hard to do with 27 championships!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. It’s funny to look at pictures of me just a few years ago without it and how young I look. We have a bet how old my daughter will be when she sees me without it for the first time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Hello, It doesn’t look like I’ll make it to the next west coast Mooney formation training in May. But I’m scheduled to be at the C2A formation training in Spokane. It’s put on by Mike Radomsky, and covers the requirements for their Oshkosh formation flight. If I choose to fly to Oshkosh with the Mooney caravan will this training allow me to fly with you guys, or will I still need training with one of the Mooney groups? 24. I installed a Lemo plug for my A20’s, the controller change made it sound different as well. I’ll do a few flights with just the Tango, and report back if I notice a tone difference in the stall or gear horn. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. I like that, I’m on my theard then...[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] I started growing it a few months before I found my Mooney. Told the better half I wasn’t going to shave till I bought a plane, luckily she likes it as long as I manscape it so it’s stuck around. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
