That expands into the N/S corridor to the East. Philly on the west, and Alert area A220 to the East...

KVAY will be under the inverted cake.

You would think with modern technology, the cakes would be getting smaller...

I agree. I was made aware of the change a couple of months ago. Still having a hard time with the explanation for the need to expands it.

I think the expansion is so aircraft can come straight in to philly , instead of the goofy patterns they use.......I for one will not complain too much , as the heavys usually turn a base over my house about ten miles out.....My home drome will now be under Bravo airspace , so I will have to get clearance to climb out in a southerly / westerly direction....

There is heavy glider activity at N57, so I expect these guys will have some issues. I'm also trying to understand why there is such a big cut-out for 17N. What is unique about that airport?

17N is Cross keys , one of the busiest skydiving operations in the country....
