430 issues

The last few times that I have flown my 430 has been acting a little cranky. Basically what is happening is that when I take offf and activate the flight plan the unit will zoom way out. I'll zoom it back in and a few minutes later it will zoom out again. Yesterday I was practicing some approaches and while doing a procedure turn it was zooming in and out randomly while I was completing the turn. I have not talked to Garmin about this and was wondering if I may have accidently hit a button that triggers an auto zoom function.
