Baggage Hold Open ASSY

Hello, I recall somewhere in the archives there was a write up on how to repair the Hold open assembly. 

Does anyone recall this?

Just weld it

My old one had a weld on it.

Someone had a cad file to make the new latch. 
It would be nice to have the early style baggage latch available on the later models. So simple.
