N201MKTurbo Posted April 5, 2024 Report Posted April 5, 2024 There are a couple of companies that repair spinners. New ones are available if you have the time and money. I would check the salvage guys. Quote
0TreeLemur Posted April 6, 2024 Report Posted April 6, 2024 @t42dor I have an extra spinner. During the annual on our J in January, they discovered a cracked interior bulkhead in my spinner. Needing an interior bulkhead, I bought a spinner that had a good one 'cause that's the deal that was made. So I have an extra spinner w/o a bulkhead. I'd sell it and you could move your bulkhead. It's for a McCauley 2-blade prop. If you are interested I'll send photos. It's unpainted aluminum with a few scratches but looks serviceable. Quote
Paul Thomas Posted April 6, 2024 Report Posted April 6, 2024 Mine was welded; depending on the shop, it may come out looking new or the weld may be visible. OTreeLemur offer of may get you back in the air faster, be competitively priced, and you'd have a perfect spinner. Does the bulkhead go right on the prop or is there an additional retaining ring to make it is tighter fit? Quote
