Currently I have an Aspen 1000 Pro with GTN-650Xi, GTX-345, G-5, King nav/com and KAP-150 autopilot.

I was planning on doing a major upgrade in a year or so to G3X, add a GTN-750Xi and GFC-500 autopilot.

But Aspen has some great deals for another week with trade in.  So it would be relatively cheap to change to an Aspen 2000 Pro Max setup, or even a 2500.

So Aspen upgrade now?  Or wait to do Garmin?

The autopilot is at the center of this question.  How well does it integrate with a g3x?  Do you intend to keep the kap150 working? Are there parts? If you ever see changing autopilot, garmin is the only way to go.  However, I don’t think the kap150 fully integrates with the g3x so right now might not be the time.

Strange, my thread got duplicated.

If I got G3X I will do a GFC-500.   If I go with Aspen, I may keep the KAP-150 for now, it works.  But I can installed GFC-500 as I already have a G-5 to drive it.

Please don't post in this thread, see the other one of the same title.

As the OP you have the ability to delete a thread…

It can be found by editing the first post of the thread…. Should have a delete option or title edit option…

Use caution deleting threads…

People put some good work into threads… they get disappointed when their work gets erased…   :)
