eeyore Posted February 16, 2012 Report Posted February 16, 2012 Greetings: I would like to get a "pre" pre-buy on a M20E. It is hangared at Fort Payne, AL. Do any of your good folks live close by? Or can someone recommend a local mechanic willing to look at the plane and snap some pictures? Thanks!

1964-M20E Posted February 26, 2012 Report Posted February 26, 2012 John Cutts at St Elmo Airport near MOB. Not a Mooney guy but a good mechanic and gives you the sense that he is looking out for you. John did my pre buy in May of 2010. My experience was good but that was also from a newbee to plane onwership as well and that was the only time I had any dealings with him.
