I think that day has come. Putting my 77 201 up for sale in a few days

Well, sorry to see anyone stop, but if you are going to in the next few years now’s the time, actually I think we are past the peak, but it’s still good, I think.

Good luck  with your future endeavors, I’d also post TAP / Controller etc, never used a Broker myself so I can’t comment on that, my Maule sold quickly at asking price years ago on the Maule forum, I probably wasn’t asking enough

When I sold my Bravo last fall I put very detailed ads on Controller and Trade-A-Plane including every spec on everything in the airplane including dates of upgrades etc, with plenty of pictures. It took some time to compile it and get it right. I also uploaded scanned logs since I keep them scanned anyway and put my price in where I would feel good selling it and a buyer would feel it was fair.

The reason I mention this is that some listings are just fishing expeditions to see if anyone would actually pay that amount. If I list something I own, I list to to sell.

One week from the day the TAP ad hit (Controller takes longer), after talking to just three people, I had a contract at my asking price. Two days later I delivered it to his mechanic for the pre-buy and three days after that it was closed and funded. The buyer had gone though pre-buys on other airplanes that weren't what they claimed to be and was ready to buy when the right one came along. (The pre-buy by his mechanic had zero squawks)
