I have a dual G3X panel going in my 1990 M20J.  Its a 28V airplane.  My understanding is the GAD27 was needed for 14V airplanes to keep the system online during engine start.  In a 28V airplane, it seems it's only function is to wig wag the landing light and/or recognition lights in a 28V airplane. Question one, if you did this in your airplane, how was it accomplished? It seems I'd need a switch that has OFF, FLASH, and ON.  The factory rocker switch is just off/on.

I saw some literature on the GAD27 that talked about using it to give annunciation for things like boost pumps, speed brakes etc.  Has anyone done this, or is this experimental only?

Thank you
