Marc_B Posted January 1, 2022 Report Posted January 1, 2022 Many forums have stickies of the most pertinent info or commonly asked questions. before you post a new thread/your first post (ground rules for those new to MS and advice to use search function and how to find what you’re looking for) so you want to buy a Mooney? (Basic questions, model comparisons, flight comparisons, etc.) ride share (flight to annual, just want company, asking for a pickup) Annual info (pireps on places, what to expect for first time annuals, big ticket items, etc.) engine rebuild/overhaul (issues, pireps on locations, sourcing parts, etc.) oil analysis/engine analysis (how to spot trends, review engine info on your EIS, ask questions of your data) training (instructors, Mooney specific training, rapid programs, pireps on these) panel pics (sticky in avionics section for all to post current panel, before and after, solicit feedback) flight of the day for 20xx (sticky for pic of the day for each year, quick way to see a year in flight; new sticky for each year) thought this might make it easy to use search function for common stuff…just search that particular thread…or if short enough read the whole thread. Also these are things that id personally find helpful in general. Hope everyone has a Happy New Year and a great year of Mooney flights to come!! marc. Quote
N201MKTurbo Posted January 1, 2022 Report Posted January 1, 2022 I don't know. I get mad when Netflix tells me what movie to watch... 1 Quote

I remember thinking what the hell have I been watching!?! Tiger King was awesome. It was only slightly more bizarre than what was actually going on in real life at the time. 1 Quote
N201MKTurbo Posted January 2, 2022 Report Posted January 2, 2022 (edited) I met @201er once. He is all about the parrots. I think the fate of the big cats and the birds have some commonality. Although the birds are unlikely to kill you if they get mad, but not outside the realm of possibility. Edited January 2, 2022 by N201MKTurbo Quote

I've asked for creation of a FAQ section on multiple occasions. Here's the answer to your question: WHY DOESN'T MOONEYSPACE HAVE A FAQ SECTION?? 1. Not enough people want it. Most users just seem to love answering questions like "Why is the tail on backwards?" over-and-over again. 2. Somebody tried it once and it didn't work, so we quit. 3. Random answers from folks with vastly different levels of experience are an acceptable alternative to a curated set of great answers to common questions. 1 Quote
