Greetings, new to the group and I was wondering if anybody knows of a CFI in the Hampton Roads area of VA who has a minimum of 250 hours of retract time and 25 hours min in a Mooney who would be willing to take on two students in a 1965 Mooney M20C mark21.  These are the requirements set by the insurance company.  A CFI-I would be preferable as I intend to start working towards my IFR in the near future.  Please DM me or post here.  Thanks in advance for any help!

You want a CFI with a LOT more than 25 hours in Mooneys!

Yes, just moved my Bravo to KPHF from KY.   Nope- not a CFI but instrument rated.  CFI is on my bucket list.  Rick's Aviation has some CFI's, but not sure how they handle training in your own plane.

Welcome aboard ISx2…

What type of training are you interested in?

Often, people with a new 2them plane are seeking Transition Training…

See how far away @midlifeflyer is… and if he has recommendations…

Best regards,

I'm about an hour away. Did a PilotsNPaws flight into PVG a few years ago. Sorry but I don't  know anyone up that way.
