markgrue Posted May 11, 2021 Report Posted May 11, 2021 Texas air salvage has one for $250 Mark Quote
Greg Ellis Posted May 11, 2021 Report Posted May 11, 2021 Forgive my ignorance, but why $4000.00? I am all about making a profit. I own a business and without profit I don't feed my family or my airplane habit. But $4000.00? Is this because it would be a new part and they are scarce? Big difference between a used one from $100 or $250 and $4000!!! That's quite a wide range. And seeing something at that price really turns me off of LASAR unless there is a reasonable explanation for this costing $4 grand. Quote
carusoam Posted May 12, 2021 Report Posted May 12, 2021 Expect that the 4amu price has slipped a decimal... They used to cost a few hundred dollars... which is silly. A few AMU... I would want it to work properly and not let water in... Come with fancy seals that last forever... And leashes so they never get left behind... and last forever... Best regards, -a- Quote
Matt_AZ Posted May 13, 2021 Author Report Posted May 13, 2021 Gotta love Mooneyspace. Between eBay, Texas Air Salvage & @Shiny moose, I should have a suitable fuel cap. Thanks! 1 Quote

That's how some vendors say they don't want to sell something, isn't it? 1 Quote
